The Lugnuts held off a late surge by the Kane County Cougars to win 4-3 today.  Travis Snider had the big hit of the game with a two run homer.  He was also the only Lugnut with two hits.  Josh Bell and Brian Pettway each hit a solo homerun.

Zachary Dials threw five shutout innings and he improved to 2-0 with the win.  He gave up just two hits and he struck out four.
