Lansing finally got to play their first game despite missing an entire series against Fort Wayne.  And it was a solid performance as the beat the defending Midwest League champs, the West Michigan White Caps.  Brian Pettway had a big game with four RBIs and Josh Bell homered, doubled and scored two runs in the 8-3 win.

Zachary Dials picked up the win.  He gave up three runs on seven hits and a walk with three strikeouts in five innings of work.
