Once again, it was a lack of offense that caused Dundin to fall short in their eighth loss of the season. Cory Patton provided most of the offense and he went two for four with a double and two RBIs in the 5-3 loss.
Brandon Magee had a tough start and he lasted just four innings. Ted Serro was hit hard and he took the loss.
The first game of a double header between Dunedin and Sarasota was a blow out but in the second game, we got some solid pitching to at least walk away with one win. Game one saw the Jays get shutout on seven hits and Brandon Magee was shelled for six runs and he didn’t even last through the second inning in the 8-0 loss.
Game two went a bit better as the Jays won 2-1. Aaron Tressler threw four shutout innings and didn’t get a decision while Ted Serro gave up a run in 1 2/3 innings but he picked up the win. Connor Falkenbach got the final four batters out and he earned his third save of the season.
Josh Kreuzer was the hitting star. He doubled in a run and he also scored a run.
