The Chiefs dropped back to back one run games against the Bats today.  In the first game, Josh Banks was hit hard and he gave up four runs in five innings and James Vermilyea gave up two runs in an inning and a third as he took the loss.  Curtis Thigpen homered and he drove in two runs while Wayne Lydon went two for four with a double and two runs.

In the second game, the Chiefs managed just two runs in the 3-2 loss.  Russ Adams had two hits including a solo homerun and Erik Kratz went two for three with a run.  A pretty good start by Dustin McGowan went to waste and he gave up one run in six innings while Beau Kemp was credited with two runs without getting single batter out and he took the loss.
