Six walks helped push the Lugnuts over Wisconsin in a 6-2 win. Sean Shoffit went two for four with a triple and two RBIs while Jonathan Jaspe went zero for two with two walks, two runs and an RBI.
Ron Lowe picked up the win with a shutout inning of relief. The win pushed his record to 1-0 on the season.
Sean Shoffit was one of the hitting stars for the Lugnuts in their 11-5 win over Fort Wayne. He went three for six and he scored three runs. Jonathan Jaspe went two for five with two doubles and two runs.
Benjamin Harrison picked up the win with three shutout innings of relief. He gave up one hit and one walk with two strikeouts.
Sean Shoffit got the Lugnuts going with a big two run homer in the sixth inning. Shoffit finished the game with two hits and two runs while Chris Emanuele went two for three with a double, a run and an RBI.
Edward Rodriguez picked up the win after the three pitchers before him all gave up runs. The win pushed his record to 3-1 on the season.
He didn’t take the loss, but Zachary Dials had one of those outings that he’d rather forget. When it was all said and done, he was credited with eight runs on six hits and two walks in the Lugnuts 14-10 loss to South Bend.
Sean Shoffit hit a grand slam in the loss and Matthew Lane went two for four with a homerun, three RBIs and two runs. In all, the Lugnuts belted four homeruns but it wasn’t enough with the poor pitching.

Edward Rodriguez picked up the win although it more because the offense picked him up. He gave up two runs in two innings and the win improves his record to 2-1 on the season.
The Lugnuts hammered the Chiefs 8-2 and Sean Shoffit led the way at the plate. He went two for four with a triple, a homerun, four RBIs and two runs. Yuber Rodriguez went two for four with a homerun and three runs scored.
Lost in all the offense was a nice start by Nathan Starner. He improved to 4-4 and he gave up two runs (one earned) on three hits and three walks with eight strikeouts.
The Lugnuts got plenty of offense in their 12-7 win over South Bend. Sean Shoffit went three for five and he scored three times while Chris Guitierrez went two for five with a double, three RBIs and two runs.
Seth Overbey picked up the win with another solid relief appearance. He gave up three hits and he struck out two in 2 1/3 innings.
Travis Snider had an excellent game at the plate in the Lugnuts 6-3 win over the Cougars. He went three for five with a double, a triple, an RBI and two runs. Sean Shoffit and Josh Bell both had two hits and two RBIs while Scott Campbell doubled twice and scored two runs.
A.J. Wideman improved to 2-0 with a solid start. He gave up two runs (one earned) on eight hits and three walks with two strikeouts in five innings of work.
