The Fisher Cats not only couldn’t hit the ball, but their pitchers were hit hard in a 9-1 loss to Portland. Chip Cannon drew two walks and he drove in the only run for the Fisher Cats.
Kurt Isenberg took the loss and he fell to 3-7 on the season. He gave up five runs on eight hits and one walk with four strikeouts in four innings of work.
Kurt Isenberg had a tough time in the Fisher Cats 8-3 loss to Portland. He gave up five runs on eight hits and two walks with six strikeouts in five innings and the loss drops him to 2-4 on the season.
Chip Cannon was the hitting star in the loss. He went two for three with a walk and an RBI.
The Fisher Cats came from behind to beat New Britain 7-6. Chip Cannon was one of the top hitters and he went two for three with a homerun and three runs scored. Sergio Santos also had a nice game and he went two for five with a double, a homerun and two RBIs.
Kurt Isenberg improved to 2-3 with the win. He gave up four runs on eight hits with four strikeouts in seven solid innings.
The Fisher Cats lost both games in their doubleheader against New Britain and they scored only a single run in each of the two games. The first loss was a 9-1 blowout where Kurt Isenberg was shelled. He dropped to 1-2 and he gave up nine runs in 3 2/3 innings. Ryan Klosterman drove in the only run and the team was held to four hits.
The second game was closer but the end result was the same. John Schneider singled and scored a run while Jesse Litsch dropped to 5-2 on the season. He gave up four runs (two earned) on six hits and a walk with four strikeouts in six innings.
The Fisher Cats matched Bowie’s nine hits, but they pushed only one runner across the plate in their 4-1 loss to Bowie. Aaron Mathews drove in the lone run while Chip Cannon went three for four with a double.
Kurt Isenberg threw a nice game but he took his first loss of the season. He gave up two run on five hits and four walks with four strikeouts in 6 1/3 innings.
Dunedin was blown out by Fort Myers 10-4 and Kurt Isenberg gave up half of those runs in his third loss of the season. He gave up five runs (four earned) on five hits and a walk with five strikeouts.
Cory Patton was the only Jay with two hits. He singled, doubled and scored run while Al Quintana went one for four with a double and two RBIs.
Kurt Isenberg threw a fantastic game as Dunedin beat Lakeland 8-1. He gave up just three hits and two walks with ten strikeouts in seven innings of work and the win improved his record to 1-2.
Adam Calderone and Al Quintana each had four hits in the game. Calderone finished with two RBIs and a run while Quintana scored twice.
Dunedin hitters were held in check as they lost to Sarasota 5-1. Jacob Butler had the lone RBI and the only extra base hit was a triple by Juan Peralta.

Dunedin dropped their final game and ended up splitting their four game series with Clearwater. Anthony Hatch singled and hit a solo homerun while Brian Jeroloman went two for two with two walks, a double and a run.
