The Chiefs losing streak continued and this time it was a 10-5 loss to Buffalo that cost them in the standings.  Geremi Gonzalez took the loss but he only gave up three the runs.  The other seven were given up by James Vermilyea who appeared to be in there taking it for the team in a tough outing.

Chiefs Come From Behind With Back to Back to Back Homers But Lose in the Ninth

This was a tough loss.  The Chiefs were down 4-0 and then Kevin Barker, John Hattig and Sal Fasano hit back to back to back homeruns in the top of the seventh to tie it. Unfortunately, Blaine Neal gave up a ninth inning run as the Chiefs let this one slip.

Geremi Gonzalez was hit hard in his start.  He gave up four runs on four hits and two walks with three strikeouts in just 1 2/3 innings.

Syracuse Scores Sixteen in Shutout Win Over Bulls

by @ 11:23 pm. Filed under Syracuse Chiefs - April 2007, Adam Lind, Geremi Gonzalez

This was a beat down, plain and simple and a lot of Chiefs had boxscores that look like something out of a video game.  Six Chiefs had at least two hits and six scored at least two runs.  Adam Lind led the way though.  He went three for six with a homerun, five RBIs and two runs.

Geremi Gonzalez had an awesome start that was lost in the offensive onslaught.  He gave up four hits in five shutout innings and he struck out nine with no walks.
