Blue Jays Minor League Baseball Blog

The GCL Blue Jays took care of the GCL Yankees 12-3 and it was Moises Sierra who got it done at the plate.  He went three for six with a solo homerun and three runs.  Balbino Fuenmayor walked twice and he finished with two RBIs.

Joel Carreno picked up the win and he improved to 2-2 on the season.  He gave up two unearned runs on six hits and a walk with three strikeouts in 5 1/3 innings.

Brad Cuthbertson improved to 2-1 on the season with five shutout innings in the GCL Blue Jays 3-1 win over the GCL Yankees.  He gave up just three hits and he struck out five in the win.

Moises Sierra doubled and scored a run in the win.  Balbino Fuenmayor walked twice and drove in a run.

The GCL Blue Jays had a tough time at the plate in their 5-2 loss to the GCL Tigers.   Jonathan Del Campo was the hitting star and he singled, drew two walks and drove in the only two runs for the Jays.

A decent start by Brian Letko went to waste.  He gave up one run on five hits and a walk with five strikeouts in five innings.
