Fisher Cats Lose Crazy Game

by @ 11:49 pm. Filed under New Hampshire Fisher Cats - April 2007, Wayne Lydon, Dustin Majewski, Kyle Yates

Talk about a roller coaster.  The Fisher Cats came back from runs down to tie the game up.  Then in extra frames, they scored a run in the eleventh to tie the game back up to keep it going.  Unfortunately, there’s no happy ending because Connecticut scored in the thirteenth and the Fisher Cats couldn’t answer.  The end result was an 8-7 loss, their first of the season.

Wayne Lydon went two for four with a two run homerun in the loss.  Dustin Majewski went three for six with two doubles, an RBI and a run.

Kyle Yates was hit hard in the loss in his start.  He gave up six runs on six hits and a walk with four strikeouts in five innings of work.
