Dunedin lost their fifth straight game and once again their offense was held in check in a 5-1 loss to Clearwater. Brian Jeroloman drove in the only run of the game and he was also the only Jay to reach base twice with a walk and a single.
Aaron Tresler had a decent start wasted in the loss. He gave up two runs on four hits and five walks with two strikeouts in six innings.
Dunedin lost 7-4 to Clearwater and while there were three unearned runs, the three errors definitely cost the Jays. One those errors was made by Jacob Butler but he more the made up for it at the plate. He went three for four with two doubles, a homerun, two RBIs and three runs.
Orlando Trias took the loss and he dropped to 3-4 on the season. He gave up four runs (two earned) on eight hits with four strikeouts in six innings of work.
Dunedin had a power shortage as their offense picked up just four hits in a 3-1 loss to Clearwater. The lone run came on a solo homerun by Anthony Hatch.
Kristian Bell took the loss and he dropped to 2-4 on the season. He gave up three runs on seven hits and three walks with four strikeouts in five innings.
Dunedin lost 3-2 to St. Lucie and it was their third straight loss in a row. Yesson Berroa pitched up just two innings of relief but he gave up the go ahead so he took the loss.
Jacob Butlet had three of the Jays five hits. He also scored one of the two runs.
Dunedin was held to two runs on six hits in the their 3-2 loss to St. Lucie. Cory Patton was the hitting star in the loss. He went one for three with a walk, a homerun and two runs scored.
Brandon Magee had a nice start go to waste. He gave up one runs on four hits and four walks with four strikeouts in six innings of work.
Aaron Tressler dropped to 1-3 on the season with a tough start in Dunedin’s 11-3 loss to St. Lucie. He gave up four runs on five hits and two walks with two strikeouts in 1 2/3 innings.
Anthony Hatch was the only Dunedin hitter with two hits. He went two for four with a run and an RBI.
Anthony Garibaldi had a big day at the plate in Dunedin’s 12=0 win over St. Lucie. He went two for four with a homerun and five RBIs. Carlo Cota went three for three with two doubles, three RBIs and three runs while Cory Patton singled twice and scored two runs.
Lost in all of the offense was some solid pitching. Orlando Trias picked up the win and he gave up three hits with four strikeouts in five innings of work.
Dunedin shutout Brevard County 4-0 and A.J. Wideman provided most of the great pitching. He gave up five hits and a walk with five strikeouts in seven shutout innings and the win improves his record to 2-1 on the season.
Eric Nielsen went two for four with a double and two RBIs. Josh Kreuzer went one for three with a homerun and he scored two runs.
Dunedin beat Brevard County 11-6 in a blowout win. David Corrente had a great day and he went three for four with two doubles, a homerun, three RBIs and three runs. Josh Kreuzer also contributed and he went three for four with a double, a homerun, two RBIs and two runs.
Brandon Magee picked up the win and he improved to 2-3 on the season. He gave up six runs (three earned) on six hits and he struck out two in eight innings.
A comeback attempt by Dunedin fell short in their 4-3 loss to Brevard County. Josh Kreuzer did what he could do and he went yard twice in the game. He also scored all three of the Blue Jays runs.

Dunedin took a 3-1 lead into the ninth inning but the pen gave up two runs in the ninth and then one more in the tenth to lose it 4-3. Connor Falkenbach blew the lead by giving up the two runs while Yesson Berroa gave up the losing run in the tenth. A nice start by Kristian Bell went to waste. He gave up one run on six hits with two strikeouts in six innings of work.
Carlo Cota went two for five with a double and an RBI in the loss. Al Quintana went two for four with a run and an RBI.
Talk about a streakyteam. Dunedin dropped three straight before winning four straight and now they’re back on the losing track with three straight losses. A.J. Wideman was hit hard and he dropped to 1-1 on the season. He gave up six runs on seven hits and two walks with three strikeouts in 4 2/3 innings.

Dunedin hitters had a tough time in their 6-1 loss to Tampa although it’s hard to complain when you’re going up against a top prospect like Ian Kennedy. Kyle Phillips drove in the only run of the game for Dunedin. Brian Jeroloman reached base twice with a single and a walk.
