Brandon Magee fell to 2-6 on the season and he took the loss in Dunedin’s 7-4 loss to Brevard County. He gave up five runs on six hits and four walks with one strikeout in 4 1/3 innings.
Anthony Hatch singled and drove in two runs in the loss. Brian Jeroloman drew a walk, scored a run and drove in one.
Robert Ray improved to 2-1 on the season with a nice start in Dunedin’s 3-1 rain shortened win over Brevard County. Ray gave up just one run on four hits and two walks with five strikeouts and he threw all five innings.
Cory Patton tripled and he drove in two runs in the win. Kyle Phillips went one for one with two walks and a run.
Adrian Martin had a tough relief appearance and he blew a two run lead when he gave up three runs in the eighth inning. He gave up four hits and a walk in 1 2/3 innings and the loss dropped him to 1-1 on the season.
Cory Patton was the hitting star in the loss. He went two for three with a double, a walk and two runs.
Dunedin took care of Vero Beach 6-4 and Cory Patton was one of the hitting star. He went three for four with two doubles and a run. Josh Kreuzer went one for four and he drove in two runs.
A.J. Wideman picked up the win and he improved to 7-2 on the season. He gave up four runs on seven hits and two walks with one strikeout in five innings of work.
Josh Kreuzer came up huge for Dunedin with a walk off, three run homer in the bottom of the win to push Dunedin to a 3-2 win over Vero Beach. Prior to that, Dunedine had been shut down by three different Vero Beach pitchers. Eric Nielsen and Carlo Cota each had two singles and they both scored on Kreuzer’s homerun.
Adrian Martin picked up the win by pitching a shutout ninth inning. He gave up a hit and Brandon Magee gave up just one run in seven solid innings in a nice start.
