Bullpen Costs Fisher Cats a Win

by @ 5:26 pm. Filed under David Smith, Joe Wice, New Hampshire Fisher Cats - April 2007, Robinson Diaz

While Justin James took the loss in the Fisher Cats 5-2 loss, he didn’t throw all that bad at least from what the box score indicates.  He gave up just one run on two hits and a walk with three strikeouts in four innings of work.  The problem was, three different relievers each gave up at least a run and that had as much to do with the Fisher Cats losing then anything.

The lack of offense didn’t help either.  Robinson Diaz drove in both runs in a nice game.  He went three for four with a double.  David Smith went two for four with two doubles and a run.
