Dunedin Edges Vero Beach With Come From Behind Win

Josh Kreuzer came up huge for Dunedin with a walk off, three run homer in the bottom of the win to push Dunedin to a 3-2 win over Vero Beach.  Prior to that, Dunedine had been shut down by three different Vero Beach pitchers.  Eric Nielsen and Carlo Cota each had two singles and they both scored on Kreuzer’s homerun.

Adrian Martin picked up the win by pitching a shutout ninth inning.  He gave up a hit and Brandon Magee gave up just one run in seven solid innings in a nice start.

Dunedin Edges Jupiter 3-2

Jacob Butler drove home Carlo Cota with a sac. fly in the bottom of the eighth to give Dunedin the go ahead run in their 3-2 win over Jupiter.  Cota finished the game with a double, a walk and he scored two of Dunedin’s three runs.

Sean Stidfole picked up the win with a shutout eighth inning.  He followed up a nice start by Kristian Bell, who gave up two runs in his seven innings.

Dunedin Loses to Daytona In Eleven Innings

Daryl Harang gave up an unearned run in the bottom of the eleventh as Dunedin lost to Daytona 7-6.  The pen pitched pretty well in this one because Daytona had tagged Kristian Bell for five six runs by the fifth inning.

Cory Patton hit a two run homer in the loss.  Carlo Cota went two for five with two doubles, two RBIs and a run.

David Corrente Homers Twice In Dunedin’s Blowout Win

Everyone was a hitting star in Dunedin’s 20-5 pasting of the Cubs.  The scored was 18-3 after just five innings before Dunedin cooled off. In all, they picked up 26 hits as a team.  David Corrente homered twice and drove in four runs, Eric Nielsen went five for five and he drove in five runs while Carlo Cota went five for five with four RBIs.

A.J. Wideman improved to 3-1 with a decent start.  He gave up three runs on five hits and one walk with three strikeouts in six innings.

Anthony Garibaldi Drives In Five In Dunedin Blow Out Win

Anthony Garibaldi had a big day at the plate in Dunedin’s 12=0 win over St. Lucie.  He went two for four with a homerun and five RBIs.  Carlo Cota went three for three with two doubles, three RBIs and three runs while Cory Patton singled twice and scored two runs.

Lost in all of the offense was some solid pitching.  Orlando Trias picked up the win and he gave up three hits with four strikeouts in five innings of work.

Dunedin Loses Fourth Straight Game

Dunedin took a 3-1 lead into the ninth inning but the pen gave up two runs in the ninth and then one more in the tenth to lose it 4-3.  Connor Falkenbach blew the lead by giving up the two runs while Yesson Berroa gave up the losing run in the tenth.  A nice start by Kristian Bell went to waste.  He gave up one run on six hits with two strikeouts in six innings of work.

Carlo Cota went two for five with a double and an RBI in the loss.  Al Quintana went two for four with a run and an RBI.

Dunedin Loses Pitchers Duel to Tampa

Dunedin lost 3-2 to Tampa and a pretty good start by Brandon Magee went to waste.  He gave up just two runs on seven hits and two walks with two strikeouts in six innings.

Carlo Cota hit a solo homerun in the loss.  Josh Kruezer went two for four with two doubles and a run.
