Lugnut Lose It In the Ninth to Burlington

by @ 7:12 pm. Filed under Brian VanKirk, Demarini bats, Dustin Antolin, John Anderson, Justin McClanahan, Lansing Lugnuts - May 2009, Rawlings glove

Dustin Antolin gave up three runs in the top of the ninth in a 5-2 loss to Burlington.  The loss put Antolin at 0-1 on the season and a decent start by John Anderson went to waste.  He gave up one run on six hits and two walks with three strikeouts in four innings.

Brian VanKirk drove in both Lansing runs with a two run blast.  Justin McClanahan went two for four with two singles.

It’s finally warming up here in mid-Michigan and softball season is in full swing.  I picked up a nice new Demarini bat and so far it hasn’t let me down.  I also picked up a nice Rawlings glove from Baseball Rampage.  You can’t beat the service or the selection.
